Identity and sign-in
We use Clerk to handle sign-in. You sign in with Google or with a one-time code emailed to you — there is no password to set or store.
Your media
Uploaded source video and audio, and the outputs we render from them, are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. Nothing in that bucket is public; the app and your browser reach it only through short-lived signed URLs generated for you.
Processing your audio and video
To produce a transcript, we send your audio to OpenAI for transcription (Whisper). To analyze the edit, and to generate captions and platform copy, we send text to OpenAI's text models. OpenAI returns token and duration usage to us, but we do not log the bodies of the prompts we send.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by Stripe Checkout and managed through the Stripe Billing Portal. Card details are entered and held by Stripe; they never reach this application.
How long we keep things
You can delete a video from your dashboard at any time. That removes its media and leaves a tombstone record marking it deleted, so it cannot be recreated by re-uploading under the same id. Separately, today there is no automatic expiry of your source uploads or your rendered outputs; deleting your account and all of its data is done on request to the contact address below.
